Treatments We Offer

Image-guided, minimally invasive procedures for vascular and non-vascular conditions — most performed through incisions the size of an IV.

Women's Procedures

Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

UFE is an outpatient, image-guided procedure that shrinks symptomatic fibroids by blocking their blood supply. Patients keep their uterus and typically return to normal activities within a week. It's an excellent option for heavy bleeding, pelvic pressure, and fibroid-related anemia.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

Chronic pelvic pain that is worse at the end of the day or with prolonged standing can often be traced to enlarged, leaking pelvic veins. We use venography and embolization to identify and treat the underlying venous problem — a cause frequently missed by other specialties.

May-Thurner Syndrome

May-Thurner occurs when the left iliac vein is compressed against the spine by an overlying artery, leading to leg swelling and a higher risk of DVT. Treatment usually involves placement of a venous stent.

Vein Care

Varicose Veins

Bulging, ropy veins in the legs are a sign of underlying venous reflux. Our team uses endovenous ablation, mechanochemical closure, and microphlebectomy to close diseased veins through tiny incisions — usually performed in-office.

Spider Veins

Fine red, blue, and purple surface veins are treated with sclerotherapy injections that collapse them over a series of sessions. We tailor the approach to your skin tone and the size of the veins.

Sclerotherapy

An injectable medication is used to close problem veins from the inside. Sclerotherapy can be used for cosmetic spider veins and for larger refluxing tributaries.

General Procedures

Diagnostic Vascular Imaging

When the source of a patient's symptoms isn't obvious, we use venography, vascular ultrasound, and other advanced imaging to map the venous system and find the answer.

Blood Clot Removal / DVT Treatment

For acute deep vein thrombosis, catheter-directed thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy can remove the clot, restore flow, and reduce the risk of long-term post-thrombotic syndrome.

Varicocele Embolization

Varicoceles — enlarged veins in the scrotum — can cause discomfort and contribute to infertility. Embolization closes the abnormal veins through a small wrist or groin incision, with no surgical cut to the scrotum.
